Guardian discusses all-age services in England

In an article in The Guardian of 29 June, Tony Watts has argued for the coalition government to rapidly introduce the promised all-age careers service and to address the threats to young people's services inherent in the proposed cuts to local authority funding.

NAEGA president, Stephen McNair, has responded to this article urging caution in case progress towards an inclusive service for adults is lost. Other responses, including those from Jonathan Brown and Viv Rivis, past president and chair of NAEGA respectively, have broadened the on-line debate.
