Posted: 29 May 2010
LSIS has produced a brief guide to the National Employer Skills Survey for England: key findings.
It summarises this report by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, and details the implications for the learning and skills sector and for LSIS. The report covers the incidence, extent and nature of skills needs facing employers. It examines skill-shortage vacancies, skills gaps and upskilling plans and also reviews employer training activity and training spend. The report also looks in particular at the impact of recession on employers' activities.
