Brief Guides to Conservative local government and Education White Paper

Another two Brief Guides from LSIS are available.
First, a Brief Guide to Control shift, the Conservative policy paper on local government. Its policies on devolution and local empowerment are, in some ways, potentially quite radical, and it's well worth a perusal:

The other is a briefing on the new Education White Paper, or, more precisely, the sections that relate to FE. Included is a proposal to allow colleges and other bodies (universities, for example) to run chains of schools:
