LSIS response to consultation on further education and skills

LSIS has responded to Fundamental simplification of employment and skills services, the UK Commission for Employment and Skills' consultation on simplifying and reforming the further education and skills system. The response draws on policy discussions with sector leaders which favoured more scope for locally-determined priorities, a focus on broad policy outcomes and clear rationale for market intervention.
