In this issue, we have a letter from Lord Mandelson, announcing a possible reform that would give RDAs a key role in skills planning; a new paper, Whole Systems Go!, on improving public sector leadership; a new intervention policy from the Higher Education Funding Council for England, which covers HE provision in FE (and of course, also in universities); and the latest in jobs programmes from the Government. Also in this issue, we have a report on increasing student numbers at colleges, the latest on the Equality and Human Rights Commission's legal battle with the BNP; and the A-level and GCSE results.
