Funding for post 16 learning

LSC has issued a short summary of learner support funding, describing the various different strands and the general levels of support that they offer for post-16 learners.
It also offers a web-gateway (www.lsc.gov.uk/providers/moneytolearn) with e-bulletins and other information channels for learner support service 'stakeholders' - providers and partners. It covers such topics as EMAs (Education Maintenance Allowances), ALGs (Adult Learning Grants), Career Development Loans, Dance and Drama Awards, Care to Learn, and the Discretionary Learner Support Funds (i.e. hardship, transport, 20+ childcare, and residential support).
