Julie wins poster award

Posted: 24 October 2008

Congratulations to Julie Cooper who won the award for the best conference poster. She says:

"I hadn't been to a NAEGA conference for about ten years, so wondered how much things had changed. I guess it was a bit like coming home after a long trip, only to find the place has been redecorated while you were away! The good things were all still present - high quality briefings, excellent speakers, opportunities gained through networking, even a few familiar faces.

"I was more than a little surprised to win the Best Poster Award - I didn't even know it was a competition! The response to the One to One Toolkit, (www.careertrain.net) which the poster was about, was also very gratifying. We knew we had produced a book that we could use with our own students, who have given us excellent feedback, but it was great to have a wider circle of colleagues comment on it. We really hope that it plugs the gap for a user friendly, practical book on IAG to save us all reinventing the wheel. If anyone missed it, I'd be happy to tell them more."
