Working conditions of an ageing workforce

A new report from the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) reveals how age is an important factor in describing working conditions and that significant differences emerge between younger and older workers.
The research looks at possible ways for the quality of employment to be promoted in order to encourage workers to remain in the labour market for a longer time and therefore help to achieve the Lisbon and Stockholm employment targets across Europe by 2010.
